Solar Project

250MW Springbok/Varsputs Solar PV Project (Flagship)

  • The project is located between Springbok and Aggeneys, Northern Cape, South Africa.
  • Power out is 250MW AC (300ha) for phase 1.
  • Radiation is around 2287kWh/m2/yr.
  • Annual production is 571GWh.
  • Specific yield is 2082kWh/kWp/yr.
  • The project area falls under Renewable Energy Development Zone (REDZ).
  • Environmental Authorisation application was completed and submitted to the authorities.
  • Re-zoning of the land is in progress.
  • Grid access application to Eskom was submitted and is currently in progress.
  • Financial model currently in progress
Wind Project

6mw great brak river/groot brakrivier wind project

  • The project is located between Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa
  • This land is owned 100% by the company.
  • Targeted Power output is 6MW
  • Annual production is 52GWh
  • We are in the process of installing meteorological mast to determine the feasibility of the project (2 years data required).
  • Environmental Authorisation application will kick off once positive results start showing.
  • Currently preparing application for Eskom grid access.
Wind Project

18MW De Hoek Wind project.

  • The project is located between Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa
  • This land is owned 100% by the company.
  • Targeted Power output is 6MW
  • Annual production is 52GWh
  • We are in the process of installing meteorological mast to determine the feasibility of the project (2 years data required).
  • Environmental Authorisation application will kick off once positive results start showing.
  • Currently preparing application for Eskom grid access.
LNG Projects

18MW De Hoek Wind project.

  • These LNG to Power Projects will be focusing in the following sites located in Cape Town, Mossel Bay, Coega and East London.
  • Additional LNG Importation projects for other markets are located in the following areas: Port of Saldanha as well as Richards Bay port.
  • Long term targeted power output is 1230MW,

               •Phase 1-150MW,

              •Phase 2 -150MW

              •Phase 3 -100MW

  • Currently preparing application for Eskom grid access.
  • Environmental Authorization is currently underway.
